| Building peace starts with community-led action.\r\nFrom December 29, 2025 to January 15, 2026, in Jebwuha, we conducted three social cohesion campaigns aimed at addressing tensions between Oromo and Amhara communities over shared pasture and water resources.\r\nThese campaigns created spaces for community members to identify the underlying drivers of conflict, engage in constructive dialogue, and explore collaborative solutions. By focusing on shared livelihoods, participants are learning to prioritize cooperation over competition—helping to strengthen relationships and foster a more peaceful community environment.\r\nTogether, communities are transforming long-standing disputes into opportunities for mutual understanding, trust, and collective development. |
